Ethics and Values
So, I am taking an ethics and values class for school right now. I will just come out right away and say that I do not like it. I do not so much mind the actual class as much as I mind the text book. So, for homework for the class most times I have to read a section and then ask some type of question either about the reading or the subject material or something at least somewhat related to what I would like to know or find out more about or like explained better to me. My biggest problem is after I get done reading and I am talking about directly after I get done I most likely could not tell you what I just read. Then I will go to class with the hopes of understanding it a bit better. I will not say I do not understand anything after class but not the majority of it. Problem number one, the book. They use so many words that are so complex that you do not even know what is going on in the book. Is it a problem to use everyday words that people understand so that the book could be better understood? Then when I go to class I am feeling like I am the only one who does not know what is going on. Maybe it is just me but it sure does seem like everyone else gets whatever they are supposed to get for the class.
